Ontem teve início o Ramadã, que é o nono mês do calendário islâmico. É o mês sagrado no qual os muçulmanos praticam o jejum até o por do sol. Essa foto foi tirada aqui da janela de casa quando os muçulmanos se reuniam em uma Mesquita para a única refeição do dia.

The Ramadã began yesterday. That is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, the holy month, when muslims refrain from eating and drinking until sunset. This photo was taken from my home's window when the muslims were together, in a near by mosque, eating the only meal of the day.
